I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2017. I have spent most of my career working in community nutrition but since becoming a mama, I decided it was time to chase my dreams and start my own practice.
I actually grew up wanting to be a veterinarian for the longest time. My interest in nutrition grew as I became more involved in sports and, for better or worse, more aware of nutrition and its possible effect on my running and swimming goals. Unfortunately, I didn't have the support to guide me in the right direction and I became more focused on my body size instead of the strength and power I could achieve. When I started swimming on my university team, I was able to put my nutrition studies to practice. I saw my body become strong and powerful and I finally started to see improvements in my swimming.
My journey in the field of nutrition has shaped my philosophy and approach. I aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories and experiences. By understanding each person's unique journey, I can tailor my guidance to meet their individual needs and aspirations.
My Process
My process is centered around understanding your individual needs and creating a customized plan that aligns with your goals. I begin by conducting a comprehensive assessment of your current lifestyle, dietary habits, and health concerns. For interested individuals, this can also include a comprehensive look at body composition through anthopometric measurements.
Based on this assessment, we work together to develop a personalized nutrition and wellness plan that is realistic, sustainable, and effective. Throughout the process, I provide ongoing support, guidance, and education to empower you on your journey to better health.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of nutrition, lifestyle, and overall well-being. I am committed to helping you make meaningful and lasting changes that enhance your quality of life.
